My buddy has surface rust on several of his folders. What is the best way to remove rust on a satin finish? What product should he use?
 
In the supermarket you can find Stainless Steel Scrubbing Pads in the same area as Brillo and sponges and the like. They work great for taking rust off blued guns without damaging the bluing. Should work for satin finished blades as well. There are other things but they can also ruin the finish if not used right. In any case, brush in the same direction as the brushed finish on the blade.
