Does anyone know if I can remove the shaft and bearings from my 8" Wilton contact wheel and install it in a 10" Wilton contact wheel?
Any help you guys can give me will really be apprieciated! Thanks Dave

Wouldn't it be easier to just buy a new wheel with bearings and shaft? As soon as you dismantle the old one that's just the one you'll need. :-)

i know that it can be done. using the same shaft and switching contact wheels. also you my have to get a smaller idle wheel to compansate for the 10". depending on how deep you want to dive into knife making, you can get a coote 2x72" with a 10" wheel deliverd for about $400.00 come up with your own motor and then you have two working grinders make's life easier than tearing one apart all the time. happy grinding
