This was made for me, to my specs. 10" oal, 3.75" blade. This knife was designed to fit inside the cumberbund of my kit on my support side, so it couldn't be too long. But it needed to be thick and the tip needed to be robust. Jeremy did a great job!
I wanted to be able to have a full grip on the blade without my finger inside the ring. This blade is thick A2 tool steel with a baked on finish. In the photos, I have some before and after shots of the blade splitting oak, and you'll see how well the finish holds up. For comparison, there's a shot of a Active Duty. The AD has a 3" cutting edge, and is 8" oal. There is a shot of the ring being used with a pistol, not ideal, but handy if you need both tools in hand. Here's the pixs:

Here are some more pixs of the blade in hand and the kydex sheath. You'll notice that the edge has some protection at the choil, and it also allows you to leverage the blade out of some hard wood. I like the deep finger grip that Jeremy puts on his steel, never wanting to slip up on that blade.
