Went down to the camp this weekend fishing. You can tell it's spring. Lots of stuff moving and growing. Saw a large Oak snake sunning after taking what I think was a small squirrel out of a nest. Also got a pic of a banded water snake with a small bream. Also a pair of Osprey's at their nest. Finally a few turtles sunning. Saw one little gator, but no good pics. Nice day, caught 18 keepers.

Sorry for the poor pics, I just had our little digital camera, left the big one at home.

Looks like a really beautiful day. I wish we could get that kind of weather.

Those cypress trees make a great spot to pick off bass eh..

Please post the fishing pics next time, I love those!

Joe is an expert:
Boy do I have ya'll fooled ;)

Was that the guy who started the snake pics Message? I don't remember any other snake nuts on here. Its pretty hard to get paid and work with herps. I tried

I'm a snake nut has been, worked with them for a few years when I was younger and moved on. Snakes in particular are either something you are interested in or not. Like turtles and frogs and other amphibians were not my bag back then. Today I can appreciate everything that moves, and take the time to observe the lowliest of newts. Too bad all of my snake pics are on slides or 35mm negatives.....yeah, I know some of you have never heard of slides, go figure. Spent a few years working at the Miami Serpentarium as a snake handler/lab assistant.
