Hey all quick question. I receive a Kershaw oso sweet recently and oh man I love the way it feels in the hands! Great ergo's! Blashape is awesome! The only thing is the scales feel cheap and I would kinda like a bigger blade.

Is there a higher end big brother to this knife?

So you like the knife....apart from the handle and the blade......

Lol I know right lol I googled it an it seems either the volt II or the burst have similar blade shapes and handle shape. Do you have any experience with these?

If you are ready to move really high end then look at the ZT models that Kershaw makes.

Oh yeah I've got my eye on a 0652cf!
With this I was just wanting a similar blade shape similar handle shape with maybe a larger blade and higher quality handle scales. I though there might be a big brother to this one kind of like the Cryo has the Cryo II...

Depending on how much you want to spend, you could look at moving up to a Kershaw Blur. It's a little bigger with similar ergos and you may or may not think the aluminum handles with grip tape are an upgrade over the Sweet's FRN. Blurs come in an abundance of color and material options starting as low as $60.

Another Kershaw with a similar feel is the Camber. Also, take a look at the Knockout and Piston. All three of these can be found with upgraded materials and a similar feel for less than $100.

Although ZT is part of KAI, the parent company that owns Kershaw, I can't think of any readily available ZT's with a similar feel as the Oso Sweet. Most ZT's are a lot chunkier with Ti handles.

A non-Kershaw that's very similar is the CRKT Shenanigan. I've never owned one so I can't vouch for the overall quality but I've always had the feeling the Shenanigan was one of the better CRKT offerings. I think its about as close as you can get to a "bigger" Oso Sweet.

For an EDC, I find the OSO Sweet fits the bill nicely! Actually better than I expected for a blade in this price range.

Shenanigan (CRKT) is not assisted, but yes, other then that it's the closest I think you're going to get.

The Volt II gives you a bit more blade, but same problem with a smaller handle, same material.

Kershaw Whirlwind gives you more blade and handle, will have similar "bellied" handle ergonomics, better steel, but you also lose the flipper. Still gfn handle.

Kershaw Link is a good option, but certainly a totally different knife in design. Option of gfn or naked aluminum handle.

The other closest replicated "big brother" knife I can think of, that is all of the above; is assisted, flipper, and bigger in both blade and handle, but still similar in overall design is the Buck Momentum, which also comes with an s30v big brother blade, and a big brother price tag as well.

Kershaw Strobe is another non assisted that might be worth a look.

A ZT 0770cf is likely, IMO, the best premium "big brother" knife you'll find.

I will be Looking into these. Though the more I play around with this knife the more I like it the way it is... Thanks again

Oh yeah what a sweet knife! I'm pretty sure it's a kershaw link blade with a kershaw camber handle shape. I was looking into getting one but worry about scratching the carbon fiber scales. How easily does it scratch?
I have thought about it as just a dress knife because of my fear of it getting scratched

look at the rj tactical knife it is close in a larger knife. I think you would find its very close style just bigger but its the same steel
