Ive been going through torx bits like mad. I cant seem to find torx bits that dont break, or twist, or strip.

Can you guys recommend a high quality torx set? Ive use everything from a precision driver set, to the benchmade blue box, and the T6 bits are always junk, and never work for more than 2 or 3 uses.

What would you guys suggest?

Wiha makes very high quality torx drivers and other hand tools. They are pricey, but are worth the investment.

Wiha. About $25 for the set you need, individual-handled drivers. I also have a set with regular Phillips and slotted for my Emersons.

thats not bad at all. So the Wiha bits are stronger than the other torx tools on the market? Just want to be able to switch out pocketclips without fear of constantly breaking bits

I don't know about anyone else or if it has been mentioned, but I hear Wiha makes good tools. You need to worry about stripping the screws now, threadlocker can ruin your day quick.

I actually prefer the less pricey sets because I'd rather strip them than the torx screws in my knives.

Wiha German-engineered torx tools both of them modular and portable.

In red below is the Wiha 38003 Multi Bit Seven In One (38003) tool which stores the bits in the handle: T5, T6, T7, T8, T9 & T10. About $26.

The other one in green below is the Wiha 79242 Bit Selector with Torx Bits and the bits are stored within: T5, T6, T7, T8, T9, T10, T15, T20, T25 & T30. Under $18.

I guess I am going with the Wiha. Thanks Rmazar for the pictures. Telling me what model to go for is one thing, but showing me is another :). Thanks again gentleman.

Just another vote for Wiha, I have the 79242 Bit Selector, great bit of kit that will make you toss the BM Blue Box.

I believe wiha has been mentioned, but if you're going for the full drivers rather than the bit kit you'll be best served by the precision set. I picked up the regular set with full size handles to save a few bucks and regret it. They're awkward to hold when working on knives.

can you guys share where's the best place to buy wiha? and prices? I guess ebay is one of them? or any online dealers that ship internationally - I need a set.

actually I would like to buy a comprehensive tool set, with wrenches, spanners, screwdrivers, ratchet tools, not just the torx set....everything including a powered drill for 240V if possible, but without the drill if easier. I only have black and decker locally, and I don't liek them.

I'm sure there are other brands that are good too, but after using Wiha bits for years, I'd recommend them over anything else.
