In South German rural areas in the late 60's we kids all had one.We grew up with big slipjoints.
In my humble Opinion a slipjoint needs a good whack when opened, a good snap when closed
and no halfstopp.
I like them to walk smooth and round.
Blade and spring from unetched Wirtz-Damascus, liners are stainless spring steel, unknown
Hardwood root, steel pinned and sterling pivot disks.
Cheers
