I have two Hinderer Vintage 3" XM-18s. Both are new and complete with all boxes and paperwork. They have only been oiled by me with mineral oil. The blades are parkerized and the finish does not come from the factory perfectly smooth. The little shiny spots you see came with the knife or are oil (I have the link to the dealers video of the textured one). The blades are darker in person than they appear in photos.
