Hi all,
I recently finished this one up and have it up for sale here and on Instagram.
It's a Wa handled K tip gyuto in Hitachi Blue #2 steel at RC63 and the handle is stabilized Redwood Burl with an African Blackwood ferrule. It has copper and black G10 accents. The blade is finished to 800 grit and is a compound full flat/convex grind to aid in food release. It's down to 0.007" before sharpening.

SPECS:
OAL: 325mm (12.75")
BLADE: 165mm (6.5") long, 41mm (1.625") heel height. The blade has been hand sanded to 800 grit. The grind is compound full flat/convex. The edge is down to 0.007" before sharpening. The spine and choil are rounded for comfort.
STEEL: 2.5mm (0.098") Hitachi Blue #2 steel heat treated to RC63.
HANDLE: Stabilized Redwood Burl with African Blackwood ferrule. The copper cap is textured and it has Black G10 and copper spacers.
