Oh, boy, my age is going to show on this one.

The Eagles, CCR, Los Lonely Boys, Chuck Berry, and John Fogherty are in my car stack right now.

I suppose the only trend here is good guitar.

Anberlin, Decypher Down, The Verve, Radiohead, Snow Patrol, Incubus, Linkin Park, Johnny Cash, Tori Amos, Avril Lavigne, Our Lady Peace, Aimee Mann, Frou Frou, Live, Ludacris and Snoop Dogg.

 I've never even heard of nearly half of those.

For the morning commute, I listen to NPR and Bill Bennett's show.

I have a 60 gig Ipod in my car that's about 3/4 full right now, so it would take a looong time to go through that. Stuff I'm listening to a lot right now:
The Epoxies, Queens of the Stone Age, The Animatronics, Radio Birdman, The Candy Snatchers, The Dwarves, Stampin' Ground, The Fuses, The Goons, Gwar,The Hives, old Judas Priest, Municiple Waste, Sick of it All, the Spermbirds, Valient Thorr, Zero Boys, Nitwitz...etc.
And of course, Slayer.
Mostly I like good punk and metal. At work I listen to a little bit more mellow than what I drive to. At work, I'm ashamed to say, I'm listening to a lot of old R.E.M.. Micheal Stipe is a complete tool, but their early work is suprisingly good. Unfortunately, there's not much coming out these days that I'm into. I guess because I'm too old and too married to go to shows any more, to find out what's going on that doesn't blow. Mainstream music today is beyond horrible. I'm sure there are some kids out there making kick-ass music, but it's off my radar for sure.

My borrowed from the MIL 94 Caravan has a tape deck and I am too lazy to look for my tapes, so it is usually the local catholic radio or NPR.

Gunther and the Sunshine Girls......really...I love EuroTrash music...I thought I lost my copy of it so I had to get another, then found the original. Now I can leave a copy at home or the in the wifes car.

Also, Nine Inch Nails, Cake, Sara McLaughlin, Type O Negative, Fishbone, G. Love & Special Sauce, Faith No More, Pantera, White Zombie, Gym Class Heroes, KritaKill, Zeppelin, Corrosion of Conformity, Old Korn...not the newer stuff, Tom Waits and a few other odds and ends....

Genesis, Pink Floyd, IQ, YES for in the car.

When I'm admiring my INFI and sipping my single malt in the evening I listen to Jazz (Patricia Barber, Sara K., Diana Krall to name a few).
