Hog Splitter?

Growing up, we used to go visit my grandparents in Wheeling, WV. They had a house full of antiques. My favorites, though, were three old cleavers that hung on the wall in the kitchen. One was a regular-sized, maybe an 8” blade/8” handle. The other two, though, were big ol’ hog splitters, over two feet long, maybe pushing three. My uncles were in a biker gang in the 60’s/70’s, and would ride around with them stuck in their choppers. They were a pair of bad-asses. Anyway, I’ve always been enchanted with the design, and was tossing around the idea of a Busse version. I had some free time this afternoon, so I did a little (low quality) photoshopping. Here ya go...

AKBoomParang!! Cool
I’d buy a Hog Splitter
Nailed it! Lol! A widened Boom blade on the AK hilt almost makes a traditional style HS. I’m thinking maybe the handle and blade lengths should be more equal, though, about 12-14” each? .330 thick, and you could baton wood without a baton.

Totally dig it. If INFI: Make it 3/16" thick or less so I could afford it!
If BG/SR-101, keep it 3/16" thick or less so I can lift it!
Both steels will be strong enough to withstand anything I throw at it... Or throw it at.. or when I use two as alternating steps to go up a tree... Or wall..
