I just received a Hogue EX-F01 today, and I like it. This is not a review, but I just thought I'd share some thoughts, and pictures.

This is a a very well thought out design by Elishewitz. I have a couple of knives that Elishewitz had designed for Benchmade, and I've been very happy with those. So, when I started my search for a good fixed blade, and found that he had designed the EX-F01 for Hogue, I thought that I couldn't go wrong. Hogue did a great job with the production of this blade. It's solid, and the grips feel great. The fit and finish is good, and the knife is very sharp out of the box.

I hope to get to using this blade soon, as I do use my knives. I'll post a review of the EX-F01 after I've used it for a while. It's a good looking knife, but I can't wait to give it that used, worn look. Sorry about the phone pics, but it's easy to use.

I'm surprised that more people haven't picked these up. I did a LOT of research before buying the Hogue EX-F01, and I really didn't find too many reviews on it. That surpised be because, it's a great looking knife, made of good quality materials, designed with function in mind by Elishewitz, and it's made in the USA by a reputable company. The price isn't all that bad either. I bought mine for $159 dealer cost from Midway USA, and if you don't have a FFL on file with them, it's still only $189. When compared to other knives with similar intentions, and similar materials, it's really a decent knife for the money.
