I've been talking with Kenny Rowe about this idea - a piggyback sheath to hold two knives, both with a pin-lock system (best sheath lock system available!)
I expected it to be great...but seeing it in person is even better!
The standard piggyback pin-lock sheath is $170. This one with tooling is $200.
Here's a breakdown of what you see:
WSK in cocobolo, red liners, brass corby bolts, coated finish, mosaic pin = $305
K4 Karda in cocobolo, red liners, brass corby bolts, satin finish = $120
Rowe's Leather Piggyback Pin-Lock sheath = $200
Total = $625
About the same prices as other makers' WSK models. But with mine you get 2 knives and a foolproof leather sheath!
If you were to go with satin finish on the blade and micarta handles...and no tooling on the sheath...you could get this combo for just $515 !!!
WSK = $245
K4 = $100
Sheath = $170
Let me know what you think of the sheath setup!
Thanks!
Dan
