Quite some time ago, someone had posted a recipe or a link to a recipe for a survival/extremely long shelf life, honey bread or honey cakes. I tried the recipe and they were delicious and the shelf life was unbelievable. I've been searching here most of the day and I can't find it anywhere. Does anyone remember this?

I remember that, I made some too. If I can find the recipe I'll share it. I just remember that it was honey, corn meal, and wheat flour mixed together and baked, but I don't recall the proportions. At least I think it has wheat flour along with the corn meal. It may have been close to the same amount of each.

That's it! How did it escape my searches? I tried all kinds of search terms in the forum and it didn't come up. I made some and a couple years later it was still good.
