Horton Knives....FIREARMS CHAT THREAD 3

Rookie Question... I just picked up a Benelli Supernova and I want to add a two point sling. There are two holes for mounting a sling one on the mag and one on the comfortech stock. The holes are appx 1/8 inch diameter and 5/16 inch thick. What sling adapters should I get? Thanks for any and all help.

Well it looks like i wont be able to get the colt 6920 that i posted about earlier but can get
A bravo company lightweight mid length
Rifle ! With most of the goodie that i posted
As well except the ssa trigger isnt a option
But i can get a magpul moe rail or a troy
trx standard 9 rail !

What do you guys think should i get the bcm
Now or wait for the 6920 ?

You wont go wrong with either. BCM would be my personal choice, though. A BCM with a good 2-stage trigger=greatness.

Stock... What do you think of this set up ?

Outstanding rifle. You did well, man. Buy some PMags and get us a range report. BTW, the Battlecomp freaking ROCKS. They just work.
 
Well men been a while since I posted.In the last 2 weeks I have bought a Remington 700 in 7 mm Remington magnum.Then Saturday I went with a buddy for him to get a Gen 4 Glock 23 and I ended up talking the salesman into me a Benelli Nova Tactical.I talked him down quite a bit.Now waiting for the snow to melt I put new scopes on my Weatherby Mark V Accumark 300 mag and on my T/C black diamond 50 cal muzzle loader.

I got a question for you guys ! Do any of you have
Any experience with the kel tec P-11 ? A friend of
Mine works at a pawn shop and has a few that are
New in box but havent moved so he tells if i pay
Cash he can come down on the price right now i think the price is 300 but im willing to pay 200 ! ...

the p11's aren't bad guns but even new out of the box they need the fluff and buff treatment. polish up the feed ramp and rails, clean up any little burs, ect. I don't personally like the p11's they just don't fit me right but I have a pf9 that I really enjoy. you will need to put a couple 300 rounds through it to start to get the trigger loosened up right also. I haven't tried pricing them so not sure what a good deal is there.

I run winchester ranger, speer gold dots, and some hornaday critical defense. all solid options. run a couple hundred ball through it first to break it in. then run a box of your carry ammo through it just to verify it likes them too.

I have one Keltec it is sub 2000 Never shot it for good reason. If you like plastic and feel lucky buy it. I wouldn't

Off Topic: it seems so weird to me that you can ship firearms and ammo by mail in your neck of the woods,,, no such thing imagineable overhere,,, must be soooo convenient :thumbup:

Well guys I picked up the rifle saturday and also
Got a pmag and 40 rounds of PMC bronze ! But
I wont be able to take out to the range til after
Our vacation ! ... I also need a rear sight as it is
A flat top ! What do you guys reccomend ? I was
Thinking of looking for a magpul mbus sight !

But I did put 200 round down range with
My kahr cw40 ! 100 of WWB and 100 of
Winchester ranger ! And I only had one
FTF with the WWB ...had no problems with
The ranger ammo.
