My sister was over the other day with her 14 month old German Shepherd, Gunny. He is a gift to herself for her surviving a rare form cancer and its subsequent life altering treatment. I've heard it said that our pets represent us on some level and I have found that in this case, Gunny's spirit is well in line with my sisters.

Those are great pictures Mike! Thanks for sharing them. That is truly a beautiful Shepherd. I'll try to take some pics of the neighbor's Shep asap. Enjoy your Sunday fellas.

T.Rex's first camping trip. Itasca State Park.

Wondering what all this nonsense is.

After a 4 hour drive and a 1.5 mile hike we arrive at our own little lake. It was a bit later than we expected since we bought mama's new car that morning.

At first the boy was not happy. After one day he was fully at ease.

Nice pics man

Looks like a great time .

Itasca is one of my favorite spots.
Not sure where you hiked to, but I carried the canoe to some remote lakes in the middle of the park before.

Beautiful country, and no one around.

There was a trail running between a couple of the lakes.

The fire tower is a great spot too. sunset up there is nice.
