How do you carry / EDC your fixed blade?

Hey all. Curious how you guys are carrying your fixed blades daily?
My current config. Is Strider DB in kydex sheath with tek-lok. Inside belt line but outside pants to conceal better. 4 o'clock position.

Tried it owb and wasn't concealed enough.

I carry my Bradford G3 in the horozontal leather sheath that came with it. I also got one of the kydex sheaths with a G clip, & carry it cross draw (diagonally). It conceals well either way under a t-shirt.

I normally carry my FB cross draw on my left side. Today, it is Benchmade 162 in an after market leather scabbard.

I carry my carter perfect model mostly neck carry, occasionally in a horizontal kydex.

I'm wearing a 4" Puukko in a traditional sheath with a dangler loop. If discretion is needed I slip the sheath into my front pocket as it hangs off my belt
otherwise it just dangles. Works pretty well - though I would prefer a fixed loop - not a big fan of danglers but I surely like this knife.

(Not my photo - but my knife.)

Only when hiking. Traditional leather sheath, open carry, right hip.

Just in my pocket

This is the Cold Steel Pendleton Hunter (full size handle / "3-1/2"" blade)

Can't see it from the side other than outline in cloth.

Here is one with a smaller handle

With the larger one I have been experimenting with a leash for the sheath because the short length doesn't work as well as the long tubular one on the small knife. As active as I am I couldn't imagine inside band carry and as often as I use it I would probably cut my shirt.

Down side is can't have knife just dropped into top of sheath; handle is top heavy and will flip the sheath over. It just lets me have some where handy to have the sheath while the knife is in use. Maybe this is silly . . . seems to work fine . . . time will tell.

Something that has been called "CM Carry" ... Inverted with a 45 degree forward cant.

I open carry my Kabar 1232s or my Kabar 3/4s at 3:30-4:00 and 8:00-8:30 from my belt in their factory sheaths, and my BK11 in LRP.

Guardian 3 cross draw with leather sheath. Undetectable under T shirt, but simple to get to.

Neck knives in their plastic/kydex sheath hanging from the neck

Larger fixed blades go in their sheath which is always kydex/hard plastic, I carry them tip up for more comfortable deployment. These are usually the Aqua Salt, Jumpmaster, or Sakai Sabi,

Hissatsu or any other that has proven to have excellent retention and reliable deployment. I've had too many problems with bad unreliable sheaths in the past

I have not worn a sheath knife regularly for years (decades). However, a method that worked for me back then was to wear it vertically, high, strong-side (at ~4 O'clock for me) with the blade portion inside the back pocket of my jeans, shirt over hilt.

Living in snow country, with a sweater or jacket it disappeared and was comfortable.

Don't EDC a straight knife any more, but always have a blade somewhere.

The G3 rides horizontal... right front, over jeans pocket.

Oh now Charlie Mike,

You aren't going to leave us newbies hanging like that are you ?
Those of us new to the forum, er . . . me, need a link to a thread with tutalege on the CM Carry.
Looks ineffective but knowing you the little that I do there is good reason.
