How do you carry your gloves?

So I have a pair of Hatch gloves and I'm wondering how to carry these more comfortably on an everyday basis.

Too big (and annoying) to carry in either the front or back pocket.

How do LEO's normally carry them?

Whats your carry setup and/or any suggestions for me?

If they have loops or grommets, you could put them on a carabiner on a belt loop. Or tuck them behind your belt, with the gloves overlapping it so they're flat up against you. Same with the waistband. Cargo pockets are a natural place, if you wear pants that have them. I've used all of those.
At work, I wear pants or overalls that typically have tool pockets and hammer loops. When not using the gloves, I cram them halfway through the hammer loop.

I have a belt strap with an alligator clip that hold gloves when I am working on the range, but I dont think it would work for "duty" purposes. Are you talking about in uniform as a LEO? Mine usually stayed in the car unless I thought I needed them, in which case they were on, but I never really liked the "black glove" image, if thats what you are talking about.

Give that man a cigar! :D

IMO, "in the car" will not do. The "black glove image" is exactly what is needed sometimes, and putting on your gloves while some d!ckhead is telling you what he is, or is not, going to do sends a non-verbal message that cannot be underestimated. You do not want to get to a call that you didn't think would require gloves, have it take a turn so that it does, and be without.

Trust me, I know from whence I speak.

Thanks guys.

I'll try the belt carry method described but it probably won't be as quick to get to as compared top when I carry them flat in my back pocket.

The only thing about carrying them in my back pocket is that they tend to fall out when I'm running after someone.

In fact, the waistband carry method sounds pretty decent too. Only thing is I have Wordens travel wrench tucked in there.

Thanks for the ideas OwenM.

Mine stay in my glove box until needed. But since they're driving gloves (I have both brown and black...both colors go with my car's interior), I can put them in any pocket (or just about anywhere else) for easy carry when outside of my car. :)
