I had a Midway USA gift card to spend and could really find anything else I wanted, so I went ahead and ordered one a couple days ago.
Then yesterday I realized the sheath doesn't seem to have or include a way to actually carry it and had to adress that.
I looked into just ordering a simple leather sheath for it from a maker on ETSY who offers them because I don't really feel like making one this time ( I'll probably have to anyways) but their lefty options were out of stock, so I just went ahead and ordered a set of their leather horizontal/scout carry straps for it.
With certain vests and jackets I expect the horizontal carry to work out just fine, but I don't generally like plastic or kydex sheaths so I may not stick with it for long.

What's with the long slot on the side , can you just run your belt over and through that slot ?
Do some of you just carry it in your pocket ?

Technically pocket carry is a no-go in California, but there's a lot I can get away with while staying out of trouble here in my area of rural Norcal.
Especially on a day off when I have nowhere to be, but even just running errands around town or stopping by the local hardware...etc, I have on occasion had a fixed blade in my pocket.
it's not a regular thing especially because I don't have many small enough that I'd consider most ideal for this, but also because belt carry is best.

I would look for a small tool pouch for it. Maybe one that holds a screw driver or pliers too. It looks like a wrench for a reason.

In California, if you tuck your shirt in and clip it to your pocket using a clip as I pictured above, I’d think it’d be considered open carry because the handle’s showing (therefore legal). Keep us updated Hickory n steel Hickory n steel on what works for you.

Side note: I took some time to reprofile mine because it was especially obtuse towards the tip. Felt similar to Buck’s 420HC to me.

thinkin about the longer cutout in the plastic sheath..I wouldn't think it would be to fit a belt. more to fit universally various belt clip attachments with 2 screws. course paracord would make it a horizontal sheath easily as its setup. I'd have to play with mine to figure out how to do it vertically and make it stable and secure.

I'll see how wide the sheath is when the knife arrives hopefully tomorrow, but it just may be a good vest pocket knife.

It seems ideal for vest carry, but the knife fits tighter into the sheath than the sheath into any of the vest pockets it'll fit into so I would need a clip of some kind.

I'll carry it in my vest pocket for now until my belt loops arrive, but it'll be awhile since they haven't even shipped yet.

I received those belt loops and carried the knife awhile, but they don't fit as tightly to my belt as I would like so I haven't really felt the urge to carry it again after that initial couple of weeks.

I had the same issue. I wanted to like it, and it seemed like a decent knife but I hated the factory sheath. I couldn’t find a good way to carry it besides in a pocket (which isn’t technically allowed in my state) so it ended up being tossed in a toolvox and later sold.
