How do you pronounce Nalgene?

Nalgene makes a lot more than water bottles. They have long been a manufacturer of laboratory supplies and equipment. The consumer water bottles are a creative new departure for them.

I have always heard the name pronounced Nahl-Jean.

It's Nahl jean up here but you guys seem to pronounce things wrong across the line. :p

It's either pronounced "Nail-Jean", "Nahl-Jean" or "Water Bottle". :eek:

I emailed them and asked. We will await their responce :cool:
 
Nahl-Jean according to the sales reps.

As Gollnick mentioned, the bottles that everyone sees and is familiar with are only something like 1% of their revenue. Their main products are beakers, bottles, etc. for hospitals, labs, and other testing facilities. All of their stuff is manufactured to lab testing standards, hence the high quality of their bottles.
