*How does Cold Steel Recon 1 folders compare to CQC7 and Buck Striders?*

Although Cold Steel got into the axis lock cloning game a bit later than most, there is still a large likelihood that their "ultra" lock will be a secure locking mechanism (especially when compared to many of the mass produced liner locks currently available). I like the blade and handle materials of the other knives you've mentioned better, but if AUS-8 blades and zytel handles are cool with you then the CS Recon folder will likely serve you well.

Excluding the Strider, I think I would easily opt for a Benchmade 710 over any of the others mentioned, but that's just one man's opinion (and worth exactly what you paid for it
