Hi guys, my computer got stolen so bare with me for typos and baf spelling while using my phone, not that it was much better when i had my computer LO L

Some of you might have seen my hults bruk in the thread"it followed me home", the head is painted blue, and there is a red paint on the handle.
It wasnt pleasing to the eye when i got it, but it has grown on me, now i am really into that"color scheme" but im not sure what kind of paint i should use to replicate that on my little hults hatchet.

Have anyone done this?

I have been using standard Rustolium from a rattle can on my dirt digging tools for years and once in a while on axes. It takes a few days to cure properly but once cured it is very tough. I remove the head, scuff the steel with 180 grit emery cloth, degrease with acetone, and paint.

Wow!!that looks amazing Smith,i will have to search if that is available in sweden.thank you

Good advise above.

I like the implement paint available at most auto parts stores. Doing it right is more important than the paint used.
