This allows me to focus on what's important... Knives.
This is what I do also, along with restoring older blades to their former glory and selling them. Also, last year I picked up a night class two days a week to help bring in some extra money.I buy, sell, and trade knives of all kinds. I guess that's my hobby "on the side" - LOL!
No, but really, if I see a knife that I want to try, I'll just sell-off or trade-away something(s) not being used or otherwise enjoyed. That way, the collection is constantly changing, and I get to try even more knives than I would if I kept everything I acquired all the time.
I don't "go out" ... whatever that is supposed to mean....
I build things and sell them, motor cycles, classic cars, some small fabrication pieces
Here's the latest bike, I had for 29 days before someone flagged me down and bought it on the spot!
all it does is remove the thin layer of grime
Awesome bike!
Thanks! Got it as a tank and a frame with a motor sitting in it, I also restore cars
I have 2 kids in daycare and a car payment, so had to get a part time job to have any fun money (part goes to my knife hobby, some to dinner out, most taking the kids to do fun stuff, some for whiskey lol). I am a life long night owl so started driving for Uber hauling drunks home from the bars. Its pretty fun actually, and money is decent. Most people are pretty chatty being drunk, and in a good mood having just left a party.
With my full time job, i work around alot of valves we have to replace. So all the old ones we take out, im aloud to pop the brass cores out and bring them to the scrapyard. Brings in decent amount for something that takes just a minute to do everyday. A month or so to fill up a 5 gallon bucket that brings $120-$150.
Wow, that would be some cha ching though. I work for a gas company, and when we move meters out of peoples basements or replace service lines i get a valve or two. Ill keep that in mind though about the grills.
