Do yall find yourselves liking knives with a certain amount of blades.I personaly find myself liking the two bladed knives like the trapper.Does anyone else have a preference of how many blades they like on there knives and why?Maybe i just dont fully understand the purpose of that many blades, but now dont forget that up until now all i have bought is tatical knives.I have alot to learn about slipjoints.

I find myself most fond of my 2-blade slippies, the Trapper pattern being my all-time favorite. Three and four blade slippies can be nice, but you start to approach the point if diminishing returns I think with 3 or more blades.

I will take a 4-bladed congress or a 4-bladed stockman every time given a choice.
I will not carry a pocketknife with less than three blades, a clip, a sheepfoot, and a spey, at minimum. I can do without the spey most of the time if the knife has a nice pen blade.

I like having a 2 blade knife with one big and one small but I'll try most any pattern.

I tend to lean toward 3 bladed stockmen, but I've been known to carry a trapper or 2, especially lately.

I prefer single blade slipjoints. Strangely enough, my favorite pattern is the stockman with its three blades.

Typically two or three blades for me, although I have a 4-blade S&M sowbelly that has been gettting a lot of pocket time lately.

Hi,

I mostly carry 2 bladed patterns these days. I like canoes and I've just gotten into carrying barlows. I used to carry nothing but a 3 blade stockman back when I was younger.

dalee

Well my favorite pattern is the stockman so I'm saying 3 blades is my favorite. I will also carry a trapper though too so 2 or 3 for me.

I like my sodbusters, hunters, and Opinel, also like my SAK Master Tinker; and three bladed whittlers and stockman. A different knife for different purposes, just can't choose one :D

I like Jack knives. 2 blades is plenty for me.

Not my picture but it is my knife

I like two to three blades

Where the two blades are not the same size, one big and one small.
The three bladed is normally a stockman or whittler

I could probably be just fine with 1 blade for EDC chores. When playing outdoors, fishing, hunting, camping etc. I prefer the 3 bladed stockmans as
I use a knife more than normal and 3 sharp blades are handier. No real preference overall as I just enjoy rotating the different patterns. I kinda like being pleasantly surprised at what I pull from my pocket on any given day, when an opportunity calls for a knife.

someday, I'll have a congress with a razor, large sheepsfoot, small coping and spey blades.

Until then, I mess around with my SAKs and old kabar jack.

Other than the folding Hunter frames I carry, I say the more the merrier. 3 blade stockmans and 4 blade congress I seem to favor.

But, who can carry just one knife? :D

So-Lo :D LOL
