How many knives do you carry daily?

I vary between 2 and 3, depending on where I am, and depending on whether I'm carrying a pistol. I virtually always carry these two:

* EDC folder (BM Mini-Rukus 615, or a Spyderco PM 2 clipped to front pocket)
* Small multitool (Leatherman juice back pocket)

When I cannot carry a pistol, due to legal reasons or "social situations" such as an anti-gun employer, then I also carry a fixed blade (Spyderco 3.5" Street Beat) in a MercHarness (knife is suspended upside down in its sheath under one arm).

Note: I am toying with the idea of going to carrying the fixed blade all the time and forgetting the "EDC folder" concept. Just to try something different and lighten the load. The Street Beat can do anything my folders can, and it can do it better, so it's a good candidate.
 
I carry one usually (was an Emerson Specwar folder but now a Spydergo GB), and I have a SAK I will throw in the mix if I need an extra blade or whatever else an SAK would be used for. So one, but no more than 2 depending on the situation. I too am thinking about going with a fixed blade like the ESEE Izula II. It’s cheap, small and tough as nails. There was a time in my life where I had a blade in every pocket but looking back I never needed all that steel on me. I think it was more about feeling cool than need. I was once an LEO and into all that cool high speed stuff but I grew out of it once I moved on from that line of work. I will add that in 12 years behind a badge and gun I only needed a knife about a handful of times and it was NEVER for defense.
 
I carry two folders. A spyderco sage 2 and CRK Umnumzaan/ Benchmade AFCK.

Then a wegner pocket knife for utility.
 
I usually carry 2 1/2 knives. A Wenger SI and Leatherman Squirt (the 1/2) are with me most days. I change up the locking folder as dictated by mood. Today it's a Skyline.
 
One. Thats why i look around a bit to find one that wont rust, and is a strong, valued brand, without costing me a leg

Im looking at purchasing the squirt. Im hesitant because I dont know if it would be do bulky for putting it in my pocket. How does it work for you for EDC? Do you like it better than say a Swiss army knife with a good amount of tools?

Right now im trying to make the desicion of either buying a Swiss tinker or ranger vs the squirt.

So I guess my usual would be 4 knives...
 
I normally just carry one medium sized spyderco in my FRP. Sometimes i will throw a small slippie in my LFP Just for fun. I don't like carrying a bunch of knives as i find it to be a bit overkill and when i need to cut something, I can't figure out which knife to use:)
 
I usually have my main blade (either fixed or folding), a SAK or multi-tool, and a opinel which serves as my loan knife because its cheap and not scary to the sheeple
 
To my surprise, I realized I carry three blades constantly.

--my edc. Right now a Small Sebenza.

--on my keychain is a Vic Rambler. More for the tiny Phillips Head screwdriver. But I keep the blade sharpened.

--whenever I go out I have a Benchmade Houdini seat belt cutter on me.
 
I always carry a machete,a folding knife and a fixed blade at all times....i get weird looks when people see the big machete strapped to my belt.
 
Mostly 1, but sometimes 2.

I'll put a small Sebenza or Spyderco Native 5 in that small pocket above the front right main pocket found on most jeans.

Heh, a fellow knife carrier after my own heart. You've got all that steel, so you may as well take it with you wherever you go. :-)
 
I'm up to about two usually. My regular day with a pair of jeans includes a Delica 4 and a SAK Farmer in my fob pocket. The Delica 4 will sometimes be swapped out for my favorite knife, the Al Mar SERE 2000 when I don't mind the extra bulk, or if I'm feeling... insecure.
 
Funny thing is, I always carry the small mt and mid-sized folder, but I almost never use the folder. I can get away with using the mt and it's wussy little 420HC blade for almost everything. And because I work at a place with a bunch of weenie libs who blanch at the mere mention of a weapon (let alone seeing it), I prefer using the mt in public as it's less intimidating to my weenie coworkers (some of whom have to fill out my annual reviews and decide my salary :-) ).
 
Usually three.

I always have the Vic Rambler on my keys, a small folder LFP, and some kind of locking one-hander clipped RFP.
 
BM mini-barrage and Victorinox Tinker every day. On dress days I carry a mini-Tinker instead of the standard.
I used to carry a Squirt but broke one of the pliers heads when applying lateral force. Have not gotten around to sending it back but it is years old and well worn. Probably just better off buying a new one. I was looking at the new Gerber mini, similar to the squirt,. It looks pretty good for $20.00
