they did some d2, pretty sure I have one somewhere.I know the early ones were 440C and 425M before 420HC. There have been ones produced with 5160 and blades made for 112 in BG42.
I'm not sure if any were made with 154CM or D2 but it is likely. HTH
Yeah, you'd drive yourself into the poor house if you tried. I got my first 110 about 50 years ago, and I've picked up a few Bucks since then. But every Sunday Picture Show, I'm amazed at how many different 112s & 110s there are.I would say including the slim variants. I really like the slims as well. Honestly I’m not going to be obsessing over it and try for every variant but I’d like to get the steels if possible.
the op did in his post.No one mentioned S30V,that Buck has used for years.
The first 112 that I slimmed has this steel.

Your hearing is OK though...My wife has said that I need glasses.LOL
Not according to my wife.LOLYour hearing is OK though...
Look above your post LK.I’ve bought several different 112 with 420hc, s30v, s35vn, s45vn and might consider one in Magnacut. I know Ive seen some other 112 blade steels over the years but just can’t verifiably remember what they were.
