I have received a knife from a family estate that I was told once belonged to my father. I would like to find some info on it from any of the Case XX experts out there.
It is a "Barlow" style, two bladed, the large blade is marked "CASE XX", with USA immediately under it. There are eight (8) dots under that.
On the other side of the blade is "62009 1/2". There are no markings on the other, smaller blade.
On the bolster, it is marked "CASE XX" and it has been engraved with our family last name. Crudely, I might add, which, if there were any collectible value at all, certainly destroyed that. It has immense personal sentimental value to me, though, as I was away from my father for many years due to my service and travels.
I suspect it is probably not more than 20 or so years old, but any info would be appreciated.
