How do you guys clean the handles on your combat Karambit or other Emerson knives

i’m wondering if there’s any type of oil or anything else that I could maybe scrub into it to give it a nice finish and shine as well as a coat of protection.

I’ve been using the ballistol
on the handle for my Spyderco

The scales are made of G10, a material that is extremely durable and resistant to the elements. There is no need to add a coat of protection to the scales. I clean my Emerson scales with plain dish soap, warm water, and a nylon firearms cleaning brush (the one that kind of looks like a toothbrush). Because of the texture on the scales they wont ever really get "shiny". Putting oil on them will only reduce grip and attract dirt/grime.
