Hi all,
What tools do I need to cut a natural sharpening stone? Angle grinders rotate too fast and cracks occur. Thanks.

Rent a wet saw for Tile work.

Or take the stone to a Tile/Granite shop and ask them to do it.

You can rent a saw for half a day and they have a rolling table that you can set a gauge on so that you can get parallel cuts and consistent thicknesses.

Hi,
Is there any wet saw model that can be used under 1k rpm? Thanks.

You can also use a hand saw with carbide teeth if it is a small job. What kind of stone is it?

Does it have fissures/cracks?

I'm a tile setter and have cut almost any kind of stone you can think of from hard Granite to soft sugar Marble .... including glass tiles.

A diamond blade cooled by water goes through them like butter.

Why do you ask about the RPMs'?

Hi,
You are right some of them have fissures and stones are brittle. I need something under 1k rpm rotation.
