How to use a machete safely

Hi Guys,
How are doing? Hope all are having a good time. As you all know safety is first when you use any blade, and that can't be truer when you use a machete. So what is your suggestion regarding a machete safety??

Don't cut anything off that you like or brings you pleasure.

Be sure that none of your parts in the path of a missed swing.

I honestly can't find it.

If I'm doing any kind of downward cutting with my machete I make sure it's along the side of me and not directly in front of me, this removed the chance of it swinging towards me
