....hmmm. I believe Mick, Duane and everyone at the shop is a LITTLE busy right now so let's see if I can address this.
A. This is old business..use the research tools and go back about 2-3 months. You will see the discussions there.
B. To the best of my knowledge there is no, for lack of a better term, 2nd channel for Strider Knives. Period.
c. I'm a bit confused...you solicit info about MW, yet in your profile you list it as your favorite knife.

Merc Worx is just another company in the long list of knife makers that is copying Striders designs. Although their prices are competitive, I see no listing of where the company is located, or a warranty. Unless Mick allowed them to use Strider’s designs, (I doubt it), Merc Worx is just another unimaginative knife company.

The knife in question, was designed by Strider FOR the individual that is having them made by whomever for Merc Worx.

I gave it to him to use at his own discretion, with my best wishes.

That being said...i have no idea about construction or quality.
