Does anyone know how I can purchase all
makes and models of Hubertus knives directly from the manufacturer?

Thanks!

Hubertus don't sale direct but you can buy all Hubertus products from us. We are since 72 years a Hubertus dealer and offer cheapest prices!

I picked up a Hubertus fixed blade at a shop in Frankfurt recently and would like to get another as it sharpened up very nicely, fits my hand well, and is a nice size. It's carbon steel, blade about 4 inches (10 cm), in what I guess would be called a straight hunter pattern, has a stacked leather handle with an aluminum cap and single brass guard, simple leather sheath. Others in the store called it a 'pathfinder'. It was 50 DM. Is it still available, or will I have to contact the same store about remaining stock ?

Hubertus make very fine, traditional (mostly) German knives. They are located in Solingen where they have a factory store. I don't know if they sell directly via mailorder, but if you're ever in Solingen, it's certainly worth your time to stop by. I think they have website, I'll try and find the owner's business card and post it here. Really nice folks.

The Knifeshop is a good place to deal with on line. I have purchased knives, including Hubertus, from them twice; service is very good, considering they are located in Austria. Shipping time to US is usually l0 to 14 days. Prices can be real good, when enchange rate favors Dollar over Uro. Deal with them, and you will get personalized service from Martin, or his brother, Robert.

the price form the leather bowie knife 11 cm is 28 EUR (approx. 23 USD for the USA)

the price on the boy scout knives is depended on the model number. The number 31.105.SR.12 cost EUR 26.-- (approx. 22 USD for the USA)

Best regards,

Alright ! The 30.100.LE.11 / 30.200.LE.11 looks like the one, provided it's carbon steel, but what are the different model numbers ?

It's really called a 'leather bowie knife' ?

What would be the total cost shipped to Washington state, for 1 or 2 of the model ?

What a great forum.

Hi!

HUbertus make only the number 30.100.LE.11 the number 30.200.LE.11 is out of production and not available.

The 30.100.LE.11 is a stainless steel Bowie knife with leather handle.

He told us a half year ago that the 30.200.LE.11 will run out. Now its sold out (it carbon steel).

The transport fees via air mail are approx. 17 USD. With 2 day express carrier approx. 25 USD.

Best regards,

Martin

I'm only interested in the carbon steel model, which is evidently the 30.200.LE.11, so I guess I'll have to look around for some remaining stock. It's such a nice handling knife and sharpens up so nicely that I was planning on getting a couple more. Thank you for your time, as you did find what I was looking for even though it's no longer available.
