I didn't get around to do Tatami cutting just yet but pineapples are comparable in my opinion.

The cut was effortless and if done more horizontally the top might not even have fallen off.

The blade belly ensures that the initial penetration is only at a small point and then more and more edge follows. With straight and specially forward curved blades you'll feel some more resitance on impact. The Kukri however feels the same all the way through.

The belly weight and the ergonomic handle ensure perfect edge allignment almost no matter what.

Looks like I don't know how to embed a video. All it does is provide a download link. As if anybody downloads files from the web and executes them on their computer :-(
Who can help?

Pineapple abuse. I'm contacting FPS ( Fruit Protective Services) and PLM (Pineapple Lives Matter) too.

What an atrocity.......

You're welcome Jens.

I had to split for a while earlier and swear the link changed itself or something. I just fiddled with it if you want to try again MtnMan. (I still have to copy/past the URL on my phone.)

Now THAT is how you start a tropical fruit salad!!

Just one of the many uses for your new HUCK! :D ---
