Hultafors Classic Hunting Axe vs Hults Bruk Aneby Axe

I've been looking to buy an Axe with a 20" handle, and I've narrowed down to these two. I understand that there is a relationship between hultafors and Hults Bruk, where Hultafors are made in the Hults Bruk factory. Both axes appear nearly, if not, identical in size, head weight, price, and axe head style; that said, does anyone really know the differences?

Hultafors actually aquired Hults Bruk, and then started marking all their axes "Hultafors", at least the ones sold in the USA, until this past summer. It now seems that they are playing up the "Hults Bruk" brand, with two new lines of HB axes for the US market.

"The brand will introduce two lines of axes, exclusive to the U.S. market. First the Premium Series of axes are handmade works of art with meticulous attention paid to the finish and include a tanned leather axe head cover... the Standard Series provides the same high quality, hand-forged Swedish steel heads and American hickory handles, but with a more rustic finish."

If the sizes are the same, I'd say the difference is mainly marketing (with maybe some fit and finish differences?)

I have never held a "Premium series" but the finish seems better on them compared to the "Standard series", which has a sandblasted, clear laquered head. Seems they have spent a little more time on the grinding job.
I own a couple Standards, and only the hatchets came with a leather sheath. I believe the sheath is standard on the Premium series.

I love my Hultafors axes, they are great tools for a reasonable price.

edit: To answer your question, the Classic hunter is exactly the same as the Aneby

Thanks you, it's what I thought and confirmed by an email from Hults Bruk.

Wetterlings says they use C55 (-ish), which is similar to 1055.

"The steel is purchased in various dimensions, but 3 m long rods, packed in giant bundles, where each bundle is weighing 8-10 tons. The steel comes from Ovako in Smedjebacken, and made to correct dimensions in the Ovako mill in Boxholm. Wetterling’s buys steel bars in five different dimensions. The steel is 100 % recycled scrap iron that is, under controlled processes, mixed to our specification, optimal for forging axes. The steel is based on the C55 carbon mixed with silicon, manganese and vanadium."
