Hunter w/ STUNNING buckeye burl

Splendid as usual John. Better pump them out now - trout season pretty soon. :D

Thanks TK. I appreciate it.

True story on the fishing. I've only been out once since august!.......I've got some serious making up for lost time to do. ;)

This Buckeye burl has to be one of the most stunning pieces of that wood I've ever seen! Keep your eyes out for some red spalted Buckeye burl.... beautiful stuff.

Damn. I never would have guessed. Kinda funny I read the description of the knife but I guess I didn’t pay attention to the type of wood because it looks so much just like a dyed box elder Burl I just assumed it was. It’s beautiful

Thanks man! I appreciate the comments.

You weren't kidding about the wood. Gorgeous knife.

Thanks Roger. I had 3 blocks of this stuff....I've had it for near 10 years. I used one piece several years back. This one was recent and I have one block left for something. Thanks for the post.

Except this isn't dyed. Its natural buckeye burl.
amazing. Totally thought it was dyed
I think that bronze is going to continue looking very nice, even once it darkens a bit and takes on some patina
can't help but imagine this knife with a lustrous, rust blued blade...
