I knew I was joining BF because of Bussee and I had a vague notion of what it meant to be a hog but I had no clue what my username kniferman really meant. I chose it because knife man was already taken. Fast forward... umm... errr.. several years and I find this:

Can’t argue with the dictionary!!
I worked in a slaughterhouse sticking hogs...
And we had guys who were “KniferMen”...
But we called it breaking heads...

They did it by hand, but eventually got a couple of sets
of big hydraulic choppers, like big brush clippers with
curved blades... hung on a counterweight.

Them dudes had muscles!!
