1: is it legal to carry a bladed tonfa if it is out in plane view of the public in its sheath? (it is more a sword then tonfa as the bladed part is 17 inches long.)
2:Is it legal to carry a sword in public?
Why? because I think it would be cool to show the occasional friend but I walk most places so I would need to carry it on my person.
is it legal in any county in missouri?

Especially read 571.030 unlawfully use of a weapon. As long as its not concealed it looks like your ok. But don't be surprised if you can't walk 10 feet without someone calling the cops on you. Also don't be surprised if a cop stops you and you have to explain why you have a sword. And if the cop doesn't know the law you could be in for more problems. If its worth it to you then your ok but it could take up a considerable amount of your time to defend your right to do it depending on the attitude of where you live. Also individual cities and counties have there own laws.

What part of Missouri are you from? Oh and welcome to BF being this is your first post and all!

I am in Jackson county, And I wouldn't be using it on anything lol it would purely be for show, Thanks for the help and welcoming
