So I have been debating the Victorinox Swiss Card because it is the most compact thing I can find that has a pen. ....It's more compact than the Fisher space pen. I don't need anything else in the Swiss Card and I don't really have room for it on my money clip so what other compact pens are out there that any of you know of. All I know of is the Fisher Bullet Space pen but thats too big for what I want to have. There has to be something out there. Maybe something that telescopes.

I cant even count how many times I have walked into the post office after hours and forgot my pen in the car.

Victorinox Mini Champ

Put it on your key chain.

Nothing is going on my key chain....and my key chain isn't with me most of the time. The mini champ is BULKY and about half of its tools are useless. If it had better tools, maybe it would go in my pocket but its thick. I used to have an old victorinox swiss bit usb drive with a pen on it. It was also too bulky.

Hmm fair enough, you travel lighter than I do. You could get the tiny pen refill and carry it in your wallet or pocket. Not too comfortable for writing but definitely small and light.

I have this Fisher pen. It's barely bigger than the refill cartridge and it's very light. And of course it will write anywhere.

In years past, Schrade Cut Co and several other makers including Imperial made small pen knives with ink pens in them. You should be able to find one if you look. I have one in a 14k gold filled frame and the gold pen is removable. Very small, smaller than a bic lighter. Mine was mounted by Lambert Jewelers of NYC in 1926. They are out there if you look.

Smallest I can think of off the top of my head are the Vic MiniChamp which you said you didn't want, or the TEC Accessories Pico Pen.

Look at the True Utility TelePen.
Heck yeah Rat, thats what I was looking for. Thanks.

Inka pen is something i saw before and seems sweet too. As far as the vic manager, not a bad second option. Also I noticed the vic signature slim usb which was is just a smaller version of my old swissbit usb vic i would edc with a pen on it. But it was too fat
THANKS.

Ha, you sound like me, always needing a pen while carrying almost nothing else. For sheer smallness and convenience, I always carry a TEC Accessories Pico Pen on my keychain and an Ohto Petit-B Needlepoint 5mm ballpoint pen in my wallet. Writing with the Pico pen is sort of like writing with a toothpick- OK for a quick signature or phone number but not for a note. Ink flow is so-so and on par with the True Utility Telepen, i.e., wide and kinda clunky, standard cheap ballpoint. The Ohto Petit-B, on the other hand, writes very well and is even very elegant, and available in at least four colors. If the Petit-B is too small, the Ohto Tasche is one size up and same design- post cap on end to double the pen's length- and 7mm ballpoint, if 5mm is too narrow. (Ohto also has 3mm ballpoints, if you want to write a novel on a post-it.) FYI.

Victorinox Signature is a Victorinox Classic with a retractable pen instead of the toothpick. It is easy to write with if you extend the nail file. The pen is pressurized and writes upside down. Replacement pens are cheap and easy to install.

Smaller than what bullet? Just about all pens are smaller than a .50BMG.

Google "valiant concepts keychain pen." Made of titanium or steel. 2.5 inches long. Uses Fisher cartridges and retracts with a twist mechanism.
