I know these aren't very expensive to begin with, but I managed to pick one of these up at my local hardware store for $5 bucks because it was returned as being "Defective"
I couldn't see any visual flaws but when I opened the blade I found that I couldn't close it again without excessive force.
At first I couldn't help think that this is why it's defective? Then I realized that there must be some trick that I must be missing, and sure enough a quick google search later and I find out you need to press all the other attachments in to release the lock.
I can't help but wonder if it was originally returned because the person didn't know how to close it? And why doesn't companies like Schrade include a instruction pamphlet?
So far it seems like a pretty decent tool even at the regular price, I especially like the pliers. Anyone else have any experience with these?
