I sure am glad I shop early.

I picked up one at REI in New Rochelle, NY on Thursday! It was the only one they had or had had in the store.

Lots of fun to play with, real high gadget factor. I will reserve final judgment until I have a chance to actually use it.

On the positive side it appears to be highly adaptable. You can use several tools at once if necessary. The adjustable wrench should be very useful. The only negatives I can see are that there are lots of pieces which can be lost. some of which will disable the tool. I think that this may not be the best tool for winter use with cold fingers.

I still have my Leatherman Wave, which can be deployed one hand and doesn't have any lose pieces.

I have been looking all over and this is the first I have seen ANYWHERE. Living in Las Vegas I do not have cold weather problems.

At work many times this will eliminate the need for a large pocketfull of tools just for one small fix.
