I tried the red eye erase on the DC and here's what I got.

Just kidding but thought I'd test my closeup on DC -- hand held pix, normal flash.

This is the way my left eye looked this AM when I awakened. No pain, sight normal as can be for 70 year old eyes -- only problem I scared kids, women and a few men when I gave them the big eye today.

Hope the red disappears in time for convention.

Looks like a few small vessels burst. Fortunatly the eye heals pretty fast. When I was jabbed in the eye once I had one that looked close to that one. Took a few days for it to clear up for me.

Heal fast Bill!!
 
It does have advantages -- nasty loud mouth little kids shut up when I give them the big eye, punks turn and walk away, even a couple of guys took a look, put their heads down and walked a little faster.

Yeah, Dave, it goes with the territory -- some goddamned problem everyday it seems.
 
Just remeber uncle bill we have to do our hell on earth before we go to the heaven of our chosing. Don't know about smoke but I'll rattle my beads for you to get a bit of a break. Have a good day.
 
Got that a while back, a mystery too since I didn't get in many hockey fights that week :D. If you get crusty bits in the eye, you might have an infection.

If you think you scare people now, wait a week until it is green and yellow!

Maybe you used the BIG EYE to much the day before!:D
You may want to use the other eye for doing the BIG EYE on the kids.
At least until that one heals.

Looks like the redness toned down a little this AM but spread. Still no pain or visual impairment. Yangdu went out and bought me a pair of dark glasses and some Visine. She says I now look like the devil I really am.
 
Bill - pardon my insensitivity, but I'm real excited to see the close-up feature on your camera working so well...nice pics!!
 
But Beoram was looking for a new cover page picture for the HI website. I think this would have an impact.

Y'know, I can remember some mornings I've had in my past that I have woke up and my eyes have FELT like they could be that red. HA!
