I'm sorry but it's been quite some time that I woke up with such enthusiasm and energy today guys. Usually in the mornings I'm rather slow and sluggish, and slightly depressed. Takes me a while to get into the groove of things. Today I woke up in an extremely good mood, got ready and I'm headed out to work in just a bit. I can't stop smiling and I'm just overcome with a feeling of all being well. Hope you don't mind me trying to pass some of that good energy onto you all. Now I'm off to work, have a nice day everyone  !

I got up at 430 this morning, out the door at 5, I feel great! After lunch, I'll probably be asleep though, but I'm feeling great!

Wow! Thanks a lot! Have a great day!

I woke up feeling rather blah, leftover from yesterday's cloudy weather I imagine (and staying up late plastering on the third floor). But today the sun is out, the sky is bright blue, and I'm slowly coming alive.

Best Wishes,
-Bob

Smooth Operator: I am glad that you woke up in such an amazing mood!! Good for you!!! I hope your entire day is equally wonderful .

Hi Smooth Operator-

I've had that same sensation of unrestrained euphoria maybe three or four times in my life. It is a wonderful feeling while it lasts. This coming from someone who drinks moderately and has never used drugs. While I'm generally a happy-go-lucky kind of person, those handful of episodes were especially notable and pleasant!

Or in the words of Tom Petty..."some days are diamonds, some days are rocks". Maybe this should be in the lyrics strand.

That isn't even enough time to pee, shower, take a dump, shave, brush your teeth, get dressed, make your lunch, pour a cup of coffee, and hit the road!

(Yes, that is the order in which I do it each and every morning. I'm up at 4:45, and out the door at 5:35.)

I ALWAYS shower when I get up. And I shower when I get home from work.

Nice to hear of your good mood, SO. Keep it up.

I woke up feeling like a million bucks too....green and wrinkled.

I was gonna say "bound with rubber bands and stuffed in a briefcase" but okay.

You have a dump AFTER you have cleaned your bum in the shower. I do it the other way round. Unless you are in a manual job, showering twice a day washes the natural oils from you skin unnecessarily.

Pee/poo, shower, brush my teeth, get dressed, eat breakfast, roll out the door. When I'm really hustling, all of that takes about 15 to 20 minutes, although I like long showers. On normal days, maybe 35 minutes.

Unless it is the temperature of a refrigerator when I sleep, I sweat. So, when I wake up , I feel like S***, and need a shower to not only feel and smell clean, but it also wakes me up.

I shower before I eat dinner every night, not only because I have sweated all day long, and probably smell, I know I smell like the machine shop I work in. I'm also more comfortable and relaxed after the evening shower.

As far as natural oils go, I happily replace those by allowing my wife to rub me down with some very good lotion after my evening shower.

So, in summary, I feel like a few pennies when I wake up, and the morning showerr turns those pennies into millions.

Hi All-

Get your buttocks accustomed to pinching a loaf before you jump beneath the hot water. Taking a dump after showering pretty much negates the effects of the soap and scrubbing.

Man guys, this truly is a strange yet good thing. These last couple of weekends have gone great. I think it has something to do with the energy I'm putting into a second job I recently took up. Some people think "aw man, your stressing yourself out" But I don't mind at all. It's actually pretty fun. I truly feel like a new man  .
