Ideas for small pocket carry fixed blades

I’d like to try carrying a small fixed blade in the pocket.

I’ve seen some of the leather sleeves made just for this in other threads on this forum.

To give you an idea of what I don’t want...not anything as small as Spyderco Ark, nor as thick bladed as an izula. I love the looks of several Tops (e.g. CAT) but discovered they were just too thick/heavy for this.

I really don’t have any B&M knife stores around here, so I’d love to hear first-hand recommendations, pictures, and ideas.
Also, if you carry something like this, let us know which sheath you use.
BTW, I’m 6’2” and carry a Manix 2 or Military comfortably in front pocket.

White River Knife and Tool Knucklehead or Caper. Bark River Adventurer, Bravo EDC, Bravo Micro, or any of a dozen other models. Gravelle Knives PCP. Emerson La Griffe.
Thanks! I’m checking those out now. I like the looks of some of the White Rivers—-the Scout caught my eye. Don’t know anything about that brand...been living in the world of Spydercos and similar, with my only fixed blades currently being a few Moras.

A.G. Russell Woodswalker is a bargain. The leather pocket sheath makes for an especially easy carry.

White River Knucklehead and Bradford Guardian 3 if you want to move upscale a bit.

I've clipped Cold Steel's Kobun, Counter Tac and Boot Knife to my front pocket no problem. Just like a folder but better. Hell, I've even put a Laredo Bowie under my belt and down the front pocket.

Id go with a guardian 3 . . .
+1 for this. I'm not sure how well it would do in a front pocket, but it may be worth a try with the leather sheath or a custom sheath. The kydex sheath would probably not do well in a front pocket... but may be ok in the back.

+1 for the woodswalker. It does not hold an edge as well as a supersteel (of course), but it is easy to tune back up to very sharp. It disappears in a back pocket, or fits well in the side pocket on carpenter jeans or in that little open pocket on the closeable pocket of some cargo shorts (if that makes any sense at all). I have considered buying a bunch of these as gifts for folks, and it made the short list for my daughter's first knife.

A Mora Eldris may be an option too. I had mine out last night while showing my car's emergency kit to my mom who is visiting (since she asked about it). She is not a knife person, but she liked the size and obvious utility of the knife. It could work in a front pocket, but it may be a bit thicker than you want.

Good luck on the hunt, and enjoy.

Thanks guys, the Guardian 3 looks like a nice choice!
Has anyone had a Guardian 3, yet found something they like even better??

Not yet, but I'm still looking. ;)

If I ever find something that works better for me, I'll definitely share.

Enjoy

I use a BK 24 with the optional scales since I don't like skeleton handles. It's a tough little do-anything knife without being too weighty.

Spyderco Street Beat on the top and Fred Perrin La Griffe on the bottom are some good choices.

The Guardian3 is a great option - I recommend the 3D scales. (I didn't care for the flat ones.) Easy pocket carry with the leather sheath. I've gotten used to having to use the choil; though, at times, I'm still not crazy about it.
I'm also quite fond of this one by @samuraistuart

(I carry it in a G3 sheath:thumbsup:)

I actually pocket carry a few different fixed blades - sometimes back, usually front. If I remember when I get home, I'll throw some together for a picture.
