Identifying a fake Wusthof pairing knife

Hi,

I need some help with identifying if a wusthof paring knife is authentic.

I brought it off ebay and it didnt come in a retail box like my other wusthof knives. It also looks like it may have been used before.

How do identify if its authentic?

Nothing screams fake. Google the blade number, can't make it out, and compare

Your photo of the blade doesn't clearly show the writing and numbers.
But if they look like this, it's probably authentic.
That it may have been used before has nothing to do with authenticity.

Your knife looks authentic to me. There seem to be two versions, one with that mark after the "Classic" and one without. But they are both authentic.

The font looks very crisp and straight. I am pretty sure it's real.
