My colleague showed me her grandfather's old pocket knife today, hoping I might be able to identify when it was made. Judging from the stamp and the information I found at All About Pocket Knives, it looks to me like it is a late 60's model with celluloid covers. What do ya'll think?

Joshua, it looks to be a Case 33 stockman with imitation pearl handles (pattern #9333). The 9333 stockman was discontinued in about 1973 according to Steve Pfeiffer's book, Collecting Case Knives. If there are no dots below the U.S.A., then it would be 1965-69 era. 10 dots would be 1970; 9 dots, 1971; 8 dots, 1972; 7 dots, 1973.

Thanks!

It definitely has the 33 and no dots. Do you know what material they used for the imitation pearl?

Not sure what material they used for imitation pearl during that era, but it is likely not celluoid as found on the Case Tested to Case XX era imitation pearl (cracked ice). Later imitation pearl (1980 on) appears to be acrylic.
