If I liked the Bugout will I like the Pardue?

I had a Bugout and two things were not ideal, so I returned it. I didn't care for the coated blade or the proximity of the thumb stud to the scales. I know I could get the blue one, but that would stand out at work too much.
It seems the predecessor to the Bugout is the Pardue 531 which some places are starting to close out at around $100. If I liked the Bugout will the Pardue feel similar. Thoughts? Thank you in advance.
 
I owned the 531 prior to the Bugout.

Differences:
Ergonomics are not as good as the Bugout due to the upper flare on the butt of the scales.
The thumbstud can occasionally snag and try to wave the blade open.
The pivot is slightly smaller.
Spearpoint vs. a Droppoint.

G10 scales vs. FRN
Split arrow pocketclip vs. Bugout deep carry pocketclip

That said I still carry it occasionally. Maybe because the weight balance feels better to me due to the G10 scales.
