VG10, damascus, 25 year warranty, how bad can it be? The design is not too bad either. Thoughts?

I have a single chef's knife with the same Damascus/vg10 I picked up at Ikea a few years back(~$75) and I have been very pleased with it. The etching was very light, but other than that I found few flaws and it has held an edge very well.
