This axe is forged in Bulgaria with commendable results fron 4150 steel (Ebay vendor). However, the handles he installs leave something to be desired. I’d pass on this one for runout, tho the head is of good design for a bearded axe. [I believe he treats *this handle in a Japanese manner (flame singe, brush, oil), tho no mention.]
