hi there, i was wondering if anyone jas had any experience in imporving an existing hamon. reason im asking, ive recently ordered a chinese made tanto with a choji hamon. the blade is made out of T10 steel and is of good qualityas far as shape. there is a choji hamon, thin white line that you have to turn the blade around in your hands to see it. i was woundering what i could do on my own to make the hamon stand out more, guess like a whiter hamon where you can see more activities in the hamon. i understand you get what you pay for, and in this case, i paid $200 for the bare blade alone. i understand that chinese usually dont polish a hamon in exact traditional way as japanese swords, to save time and money. so is there a way i can do it at home? any help or suggestions would help. thanks tom
