(I'm not posting this in the Emerson forum because they don't make the knife I'm looking for. I've looked.)

I carry a large CQC-8 every day and love so much about it. Mostly, the style of the modified-bowie blade.

I've been looking for a fixed blade with the same blade design. I'd like the blade to be at least 6 inches and the handle to be more modern (as in, not antler or wood.) Satin (uncoated) blade would be preferable.

I've tried to find something but have been unsuccessful.

(And like I said, the Emerson fixed blades aren't it.)

Thanks guys! Here's an image of the blade style I'm looking for...

Maybe ask CharlieMike for a custom knife?

I'm sure a lot of knife makers would do it. I'm buddies with Jared Oeser and I know he would, but I'd like to see if there was a less-expensive, manufactured option before I shell out the cash.

That blade design is an awesome one. I have the horseman and love it. I just cant thnk of any fixed blade with that design. I googled too. Nothing. Maybe get a spear point and do a quick mod.

Cold Steel's AK-47 field knife is fairly close. It's one I've had my eye on.

actually the emerson police utility knife looks a bit similar in my opinion, have you seen that one? the blade isnt curved the same way but its the closest thing i can think of.
